Just a quick note to thank Mal for being the first Pumps.ie member to make 10,000 price updates to pumps.ie! With other members like JohnC1 at 8,400 and Kelly at 5,250 I think I am going to have to come up with a few more car icons!

Well done everyone and thanks for making pumps.ie the site it is!

800+ updates in a week - thats over 100 updates a day. Sounds a bit fishy to me! I pass about 10 stations a day on my daily commute. Even if you were driving for a living is there any way you could pass over 100 stations a day and note their prices? Even in Dublin alone that sounds like a tall order, not to mind outside of that. Is there even 100 petrol stations in Dublin? Sounds more like Mal is just hitting the update button over and over again on one update!!!

So Mal, enlighten us - how are you getting to 100 stations a day and tracking their prices?

Barryof there is nothing fishy about it! My job has me on the road all the time covering a big area so I pass many stations on a daily basis. Regarding me hitting the update button over and over again I am sure the pumps.ie moderators would have banned me by now! Anyhow I hope this clears up any doubts you may have.
